Master Costley acknowledges that the information, technique, and knowledge that he has received throughout his decades of training was supplied to him by those of much greater skill and knowledge. He thanks all those listed for the training, techniques, enlightment, inspiration, and friendship they have supplied to him throughout the many years. He takes credit for nothing he teaches and gives all the credit to those before him. "If not for these individuals and many others I would know nothing. It is because of them I have grown as a person and a martial arts practioner. I choose not to attempt to lift myself about those who trained me, how do you lift yourself above those who have built your foundation? By attempt to tear them down by lifting myself up I do nothing more than weaken the house they have built. "Please excuse me for anyone who i may have forgotten, your teachings live on within me. I humbly accept you all as my instructors and thank you for your knowledge and continued support.
Specifically GM McMurray thank you for your open ear and kindness in your rebukes to me as I continue to learn and grow. Your patience is what I strive for, your knowledge I continue to strive to obtain, your skill is a height that i am not sure I can ever reach, but I aim to continue to try to serve you and GM Seo honorably.
